IMT Ghaziabad has started the admissions process for its 2 year PGDM programs of 2017 with the last date set for receiving applications on December 1, 2016.
Apart from Ghaziabad, IMT has campuses in Nagpur, Dubai and Hyderabad. Candidates can fill in the online application form for admission to any of the four B-schools.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be graduates with 50% or equivalent pass marks. They must furnish CAT, XAT or GMAT scores for IMT Ghaziabad. IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad will be accepting CMAT scores also. The applicant is required to fill the complete IDs of the test score.
Applicants for IMT Dubai need to have an undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited university with a CGPA of 3.0 and above on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent (50% plus overall average).
Candidates whose native language is not English are required to take an English Proficiency Test. The minimum required score for TOEFL is 550 (paper-based) and 80 (internet based) or an IELTS band of 6.0.
Final Selection through CT-GE-PI process
From this admission season, IMT has adopted the CT (Critical Thinking), GE (Group Exercise) and PI (Personal Interview) process.
The 30-minute CT Test, will evaluate the candidate on three parameters – critical thinking, writing communication skills and innovation or creativity.
The GE involves evaluation of the candidate on four parameters – Contribution of ideas, Leadership potential, Interpersonal skills and Communication & Attitude. Those who are successful in the CT test will be divided into small groups for this test.
In the third stage, the candidate will have a Personal Interview of approximately 15 minutes, during which he/she will be evaluated on domain knowledge, communication skills, versatility (extra-curricular/general awareness), as well as values and maturity.
Candidates with work experience will be additionally evaluated on the relevance of their work experience in relation to the PGDM program.
The CT-GE-PI process will be held in February 2017 for the shortlisted candidates from the IMT Common Application form.
How to Apply
Candidate should fill in the online application form which is common for all four campuses. The application fee of Rs. 2000 could be paid either by credit/debit card, net banking or by Demand Draft.
Once you successfully complete the payment through credit/debit card or Net Banking an Application Number is generated. You will receive a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.
The Demand Draft is to be made payable to “Institute of Management Technology” payable at Ghaziabad or Delhi. On the Application Form, you must provide the demand draft number, name of bank, branch, date, and amount. After providing these details, you will be directed to a new window that has the details of the information submitted and the tear-off sheet with an Application Form Number.
You should take a printout of this form and keep it for their future reference. You must affix passport-size self-attested photo to the tear-off sheet and send the demand draft along with it.
Once the demand draft and tear-off sheet are received by IMT Ghaziabad, the status is automatically updated on the website. You will also receive a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.
The results will be declared in March 2017 and program commencement for IMT Ghaziabad, Nagpur and Hyderabad will be June 2017. IMT Dubai will start the program in August 2017.
