Highest Offer Of Rs. 27.5 Lakh : TISS Final Placements For HRM & LR

Final placements the Human Resource Management (HRM) & Labour Relations Management (LR) batch of 2014-16 at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, saw a highest annual salary (CTC) offer of Rs 27. 5 lakh.

The 63 students, including 25 females, who participated in the placements held on January 17-18, 2016, received a total of 63 offers from 42 companies, ten of them first time recruiters. All the offers were for job profiles related to Human Resources (HR).

The students had received 19 pre-placement offers (PPOs), 3 field placement offers and 13 lateral placement offers. ITC was the top recruiter seeking to fill 6 posts.

The average annual CTC offered was Rs. 17.4 lakh and median annual CTC Rs.18 lakh. Among those who recruited experienced persons through lateral placements were Hero MotoCorp, Ola Cabs, Cognizant, Wipro, Cipla and KPMG. Fieldwork Placement offers were given by Citibank and Lodha Group.

Bharti AXA, Future Generali, Hungama, L&T Infotech, Lodha Group, Maersk GSC, Ola Cabs, Reliance ADAG, SAP and Times Internet were first time recruiters.

Sectorwise, conglomerates including Aditya Birla, Adani, Hinduja, Mahindra &Mahindra, Reliance ADAG, Reliance industries and RPG accounted for 19% of offers, FMCG companies came next with 16%. The companies were Asian Paints, Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, ITC, Marico and Nestle. Consulting followed 14% represented by Deloitte, Hay Group, IBM and KPMG.
