Admission is open at IIM Ahmedabad for ePGP 2018-20, a program for working executives and entrepreneurs that combines online and classroom learning.
Offered on an Interactive Onsite Learning (IOL) platform with Hughes Global Education, an online learning solutions provider as the technology partner, ePGP marked IIMA’s entry into online education with the first batch having started classes in September 2017.
The 2-year e-Mode Post-Graduate Diploma Program also offers an added flexibility of completion in 3 years. The campus module of the ePGP 2018-20 batch will begin on September 24 and Studio module on October 4, 2018.
Eligibility Criteria
You should be a working professional or entrepreneur with a minimum of 3 years full-time work experience (after completion of graduation) as on December 31, 2017.
The deadline for submission of application is June 24, 2018. The IIMA Admission Test is scheduled for June 30 and July 1. Personal Interview will take place in July.
The age requirement is 24 years and above, that is, you should be born on or before December 31, 1993). The admission process will be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad.
You should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree/CA/ICWA, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the recognized Universities.
Admission Criteria
You should have a valid CAT score (of test taken within the last 3 years i.e. 2015, 2016, and 2017) or GMAT score (a valid GMAT score taken within the last 5 years i.e. from January 1, 2013, to December 31, 2017) to be considered for shortlisting.
Alternatively, applicants will have to take IIMA Admission Test (IAT).
The shortlisted candidates (on the basis of score obtained in CAT/GMAT/IAT) will be invited for a personal interview at the IIMA campus or in other cities as decided by the Institute.

Fees & Other Expenses
Application Fee for the program is Rs 2000, Program fee Rs 17,00,000 and Registration Fee Rs 42,500. All Fees are payable directly to HGEIL. Fee quoted is exclusive of GST which will be payable on actuals.

Those wanting to pay in instalments will have to remit the first instalment of Rs 2,57,500, + Rs 42,500 on August 24. The second instalment of Rs 3,00,000 is due on December 16, the third of the same amount on April 16, 2019, the fourth on April 16, the fifth on August 16, the sixth on December 16 and the seventh, Rs 2,42,500 on March 16.
Program Curriculum
The program, delivered over more than 600 classroom sessions, provides the students with leadership skills for the knowledge economy, through an innovative curriculum.
During the first year, the programme curriculum focuses on equipping the students with
Managerial decision-making abilities, Leadership capabilities, Understanding of the functional areas of management, Understanding of the economic and regulatory trends,
Varied analytical tools and techniques and General management orientation.
The teaching approach is interactive, using the technological capabilities of the channel. The pedagogy is a blend of lectures, case studies, online lectures, projects, peer-to-peer learning, self-learning and simulations.
Mentoring by faculty and remote access to learning resources of IIMA will also be made available. HGEIL will ensure uninterrupted technical support in conducting online classes, attendance, quizzes and the like.
ePGP is offered through a satellite technology-enabled interactive classroom located in your city. Three campus modules of one week each in the IIMA Campus is also included in the program.
Hughes Global Education provides interactive onsite learning through satellite-based education and training service. It has live, interactive, real-time, two-way video, voice and data classes, and spread across 85+ classrooms in 50+cities/ towns.
Among the advantages of the program are that you receive a Post Graduate Diploma from IIM Ahmedabad. IIMA is responsible for the academic policies, course design, delivery, admissions and student evaluation of ePGP.
