While several Business schools across the world offer MBA in Energy management, two institutions in Germany are having full time as well as online MBA programs in Renewable energy, a sector that is opening up the world over in recent years.
SRH Hochschulen, Berlin, provides an MBA program with focus on Renewable Energy and Environmental Management. The other institute is the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin.
Beuth says its online MBA Renewables program “is designed to equip professionals with the advanced interdisciplinary management skills for executive positions in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors.”
The institute has also entered into an agreement with the Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) to launch an International Advisory Board aimed at building a platform of exchange which will bring its graduates a step closer to the green industries.
Representatives from the renewable energy industry, engineering and consulting companies, research institutions, and international development organisations will have access to “exceptionally well-qualified graduates,” says Beuth.
The Advisory Board will contribute to the practical relevance of MBA Renewables by suggesting topics for the Master’s Thesis or participating in online guest lecturers, defining skills for job requirements and, ultimately, by providing input to the strategic orientation of the programme.
RENAC, a globally operating expert on training for renewable energies and energy efficiency, serves as a bridge between students and the industry.
Applications for the 30 month program beginning on October 1 will be received till September 1.
Open for graduates of all fields of study, it is meant for professionals with at least two years of work experience who strive for a management position in the renewable energy industry.
Currently, students from more than 45 countries are enrolled on the programme and benefit from the advantages of an international study environment.
SRH Hochschulen MBA program is spread over three semesters with a tuition fee of Euro 19800.
