IMI Delhi Starts Admission Process For PGDM 2017-19 Batch

The International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi has started the admission process for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) 2017-19 batch. The last date of receiving online applications will be December 12.

The PGDM program has 240 seats while PDHRM and PGDM (B&FS) have 60 seats each.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognised university in India or abroad (recognised by the UGC or Association of Indian Universities).

Scores obtained in the Common Admission Test 2016 (being held on December 4) or Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). The GMAT test scores should not be earlier than December 2014 or later than December 2016.

The expected percentile cut off is expected to be 93 in CAT 2016 and 650 in GMAT going by the past trends.

Fresh graduates from any discipline including Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, Economics and Medicine could fill in the application form. Work experience is not mandatory but those having relevant work experience can also apply.

Application procedure

Application forms are to be filled in online at IMI website. An admission fee of Rs. 2000 (non-refundable) should be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway.

Applicants will be shortlisted based on their CAT or GMAT scores (sectional and overall), educational background, academic performance in 10th, 2th, graduation and work experience.

The shortlisted applicants will be tested on their communication skills in the form of extempore speech, essay writing and Personal Interview.

IMI Delhi has received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA). It also has academic tie-ups with several business schools including McGill University, Montreal, Canada and Manchester Business School, UK.

Program Fees

The fees for PGDM/PGDHRM AND PGDM (B&FS) will be Rs 15,41,000 for self sponsored candidates and Rs 28,16,000 for company sponsored candidates.

Program schedule

IMI follows a trimester system with the academic calendar beginning in the month of June 2017 and each trimester being of 11-12 weeks duration. At the end of the first three trimesters of the program, all students are required to undergo compulsory summer internship for 8-10 weeks in the industry.
