Admission is open at IIM Ahmedabad for ePGP 2019-21, a program for working executives and entrepreneurs that combines online and classroom learning.
IIMA had marked its entry into online education with the launch of the program in 2017, in technological partnership with Hughes Global Education, an online learning solutions provider. The first batch started classes in September 2017.
The 2-year e-Mode Post-Graduate Diploma Program also offers an added flexibility of completion in 3 years. The campus module of the ePGP 2018-20 batch will begin on September 23 and Studio module on October 3, 2019.
While other IIMA long duration programmes are residential, the ePGP is offered through a satellite technology-enabled interactive classroom in your city with classroom modules conducted in the IIMA campus at different time-slots.
Eligibility Criteria
You should be a working professional or entrepreneur with a minimum of 3 years full-time work experience (after completion of graduation) as on December 31, 2018.
The age requirement is 24 years and above. The admission process will be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad.
The program is specifically designed for junior, mid, and senior level working professionals and entrepreneurs with all the benefits of Interactive Onsite and interactive distance Learning.
You should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree/CA/ICWA, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the recognized Universities.
Admission Criteria
Valid CAT score (of test taken within the last 3 years, i.e. 2016, 2017 and 2018) or GMAT/GRE score (a valid GMAT/GRE score taken within the last 5 years, i.e. from January 1, 2014, to March 31, 2019) will be considered for shortlisting.
To ensure that your scores are sent directly to IIMA, please select “Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad – e-Mode Post-Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP)” as one of the five programs to which the GMAT results have to be sent from the menu provided by GMAT before the start of the test.
Shortlisted candidates (on the basis of score obtained in CAT/GMAT/GRE) will be invited for a personal interview at the IIMA campus or in other cities as decided by the Institute.
The deadline for submission of application is May 31, 2019. Personal Interview will be held in June-July. 2019.
Fees & Other Expenses
The total programme fees are Rs 17, 42,500/- (Exclusive of GST which is to be paid on actual). Laptop computer, personal expenses onboarding, travel, clothes and laundry are extra.
The total programme fees for the 2019-2021 batches may increase further after making an adjustment for inflation.
Program Curriculum
The program, delivered over more than 600 classroom sessions, provides the students with leadership skills for the knowledge economy, through an innovative curriculum.
During the first year, the programme curriculum focuses on equipping the students with Managerial decision-making abilities, Leadership capabilities, Understanding of the functional areas of management, Understanding of the economic and regulatory trends, Varied analytical tools and techniques and General management orientation.
The teaching approach is interactive, using the technological capabilities of the channel. The pedagogy is a blend of lectures, case studies, online lectures, projects, peer-to-peer learning, self-learning and simulations.
Mentoring by faculty and remote access to learning resources of IIMA will also be made available. HGEIL will ensure uninterrupted technical support in conducting online classes, attendance, quizzes and the like.
ePGP is offered through a satellite technology-enabled interactive classroom located in your city. Three campus modules of one week each in the IIMA Campus is also included in the program.
Hughes Global Education provides interactive onsite learning through satellite-based education and training service. It has live, interactive, real-time, two-way video, voice and data classes, and spread across 85+ classrooms in 50+cities/ towns.

Among the advantages of the program are that you receive a Post Graduate Diploma from IIM Ahmedabad. IIMA is responsible for the academic policies, course design, delivery, admissions and student evaluation of ePGP.

Students are selected through a rigorous process that includes a written test and interview. Learning is through interactions with experienced professionals who are part of the peer group.
