LBSIM Starts Admission Process For PGDM 2017-19

The Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) Delhi has started the admission process for its flagship 2-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) 2017-19 batch.

The last date for receiving of applications is December 16, 2016. The business school has 180 seats for PGDM- General program and 60 seats for PGDM-Finance.

Admission Eligibility

You must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA of any of the recognised universities in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the HRD Ministry.

Those appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply. Such candidates must produce a certificate from the Principal/Head of Department/Registrar/Director of the University/Institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.

The deadline for submission of the mark sheet and the certificate is December 15, 2017. Non-fulfilment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

You are required to register and appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) on December 4, 2016.

Application Form will be available along with Information Brochure from Admission Coordinator, LBSIM, Delhi. You can also submit the application form online at the institute website and pay the application fee of Rs 1250 by debit/credit card/netbanking.

It can also be downloaded and submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1325 (Rs. 1450 for candidates residing abroad) in favour of ‘LBS Institute of Management’ payable at New Delhi,

For others, the Cost of the application form along with the information Brochure is Rs 1250 in cash or by Demand Draft (Add `Rs.75 for sending information brochure by post in India and Rs. 200 for abroad) drawn in favour of ‘Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management ‘ Delhi, payable at New Delhi.

Admission Process

Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of CAT score and will be called for an extempore Group Discussion (GD), Written analysis test and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection.

Personal Interview would be conducted at one of the centres as selected by the candidate at the time of applying for registration. These are Bengaluru (2) Delhi (3) Hyderabad (4) Kolkata (5) Mumbai (6) Guwahati (7) Thiruvananthapuram (8) Chennai (9) Patna and (10) Bhubaneswar.

GD/PI centre can be changed by the Institute at its discretion. The weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT score and 40% for Group Discussion, extempore and Personal Interview, past academic performance, written analysis test and work experience.
