SCMHRD raised the bar during the Final Placement Season 2015-16 with 90% of the batch securing positions with an average packet(CTC) of 13.24 lakh (per annum) and the highest domestic package at Rs 22.60 lakh.
The top 50 average CTC was 17.71 LPA and Top 100 Average CTC Rs 15.60 lakh.
The number of Pre-Placement offers and Pre-Placement Interviews (PPOs/PPIs) witnessed an increase at 47 that works out to about 20% of the batch receiving offers from prestigious business houses like Aditya Birla Group, Cisco, Cummins, Dell, Deloitte Consulting, Glenmark Pharma, GSK-CH, HUL, HSBC, HCL, Interglobe, Idea, JP Morgan Chase, L’oreal, Mahindra, Perfetti Van Melle, PWC, Pidilite, Tata Motors, Titan and Wipro.
As many as 81 recruiters had turned up to woo the 243-strong batch. While 38% of the students were from HR background, 27% were from Marketing and 15% from Finance. About 14% were from Operations and 6% Infrastructure.
Along with traditional recruiters like Aditya Birla Group, Bajaj Auto, Capgemini, Citibank , Ernst Young, Honeywell, HUL, HSBC, Reliance, Vodafone and Yes Bank, new comers at the placements included Bharti AXA General Insurance, Colgate Palmolive, Cipla, Ferrero, HT Media, Gallup Consulting, Godrej, ShopClues and Vedanta Resources.
The recruiters were from varied sectors of the industry like Conglomerate, FMCG, Manufacturing, IT, E-Commerce, Consulting, BFSI, Infrastructure, Logistics and Pharmaceuticals.
